CNY Week

Monday
I was staying home all day until Fengo asked me out to the arcade at Bugis. I met Jeffrey at Bugis MRT station first and then everyone else who plays arcade games showed up, too. I played some KOF XI and checked out Sangokushi Taisen, Mario Kart GP and Melty Blood. I am very 'swakoo' for not having realized that there was such a big arcade in Singapore. I thought I was in Japan again. I also met another friend who plays VS; Singapore is so small.

Tuesday
Orchi asked me out to watch a movie with Darrell at Plaza Singapura since he would be going to play Sangokushi Taisen at the Dhoby Ghaut arcade. I even met Leck Koon (yup, Singapore is real small) who also plays the game. I finally got a better understanding of what the game is about. We watched "Fun with Dick & Jane" in the evening. It was fully booked so we had to take the corner 2nd row seats. The movie was definitely funny but I was surprised at the lack of a proper plot for a Jim Carrey show.

Wednesday
Fengo asked me out to AMK. Akira and Chaosmag were there. It was a rather quiet day. I was actually expecting more people to patronize Chris' shop now that the holidays were over. We played some VS and then a bit of pool.

Thursday
I spent the entire day at home. I stood by my kitchen window and managed to pick up someone's wireless access. I played Bleach DS on wifi a bit and even arranged a game online with Himura. At night, I went to my neighbour, Benedict's place to play some more DS wifi games. When I got home, I watched more of the Bleach anime that I downloaded. Yup, I've got Bleach in the brains.

Friday
Strange, the Chinese New Year is supposed to be almost over but I am still in a holiday mood. Once again, I spent the whole day at home. At around evening time, Benedict called and asked me out for dinner with an old friend, Ah Sheng. We met at Century Square and had Billy Bombers for dinner. I even met Kyo and Edmund (the little guy who used to play cards) in the arcade.
