Once again, it is the Chinese New Year. On Saturday, my family went to have reunion dinner with relatives at the Lei Garden Restaurant, the same place that we have been eating at practically every year. Then on Sunday, we went to visit both grandparents' home and we were back home in less than three hours. There was nothing to do anyway since I was not close to any of my cousins & relatives. I was slightly unhappy when my older cousins lectured me on my inabiliy to find a proper job. Never mind, it's just once a year; I remained low profile until it was time to go home. Back home, my brother was sleeping because he had volunteered for guard duty the night before; once again, he has successfully skipped Chinese New Year visits.
Back home, I am overwhelmed with boredom again, just like any other year of Chinese New Year celebrations. As always, only the cinemas and restaurants are opened so the choice of entertainment is pretty limited. I hope I will be able to find things to do during this period.
