Plain Old Sunday

I couldn't get to sleep on Saturday night. When I saw that my Teen Titans - Season 1 download was around 3+ hours to completion, I decided to just stay awake out for it to finish. When it was finally done, it was around 7 am (!!!). I decided to go ahead and watch around 6+ episodes.

When everything was done, it was Sunday morning. I had breakfast and went to bed at around 10 am. I only woke up at around 3 pm because my handphone was ringing. It was Kelvin Soh, who was wondering if I was going to turn up for the VS tournament at Settlers Cafe. I apologized that I overslept and said that I would give it a miss.

I got changed and hurried over to Settlers Cafe. I reached there at around 4:30 pm and was surprised to learn that only FOUR players signed up that day. It was a miserable turn-out and I felt quite sorry for the host, Colin, who had distributed flyers for this tournament during the PCQ. It's sad that, out of the 50+ people at the PCQ, none of them wanted to support this event. I hung out for a while and decided to leave for AMK as I was quite afraid I'd be expected to buy a drink or something just for standing around.

I arrived at AMK at around 5:30 pm and no one was there. Darius, Bahamut, and Kyo arrived later. Darius showed us his bag of prize goodies and his cool Charizard plaque for winning 1st place at the Pokemon Championships.

Oh, well. Nothing really interesting happened for me today. The rest of the guys were all at Funan Centre for the Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. I wouldn't even think of going there because I hate big crowds.
