Playing Myth War Online

I have recently been playing Myth War Online. There wasn't any particular reason behind it; I just I saw the system requirements and was like, "Oh wow! Something that my laptop can run!"


Despite its rather archaic-looking 2D graphics, the game is rather addictive. It's an MMORPG but battles are not real time; you get random encounters while exploring dungeons and the battles are turn-based a la console RPGs. This means that I can surf the net and chat on MSN while playing the game in its windowed mode. There's quite a lot of content, though, so it's not mundane. This is one of those few games where partying is almost mandatory. It's a fun diversion to add to your list of "things to do while sitting in front of the computer". And did I mention it's free?
